Nice list. You know, I think expats and location independent professionals have a lot of similar needs and issues. I'd love to see us intermingling more.
ReplyDelete@Carmen, that's very true and I count them as overlapping groups -- along with global nomads and intentional travelers. (In fact I'd say expats are the original location independents...we've been tasked to figure out how to operate outside of our original territory -- usually after the fact rather than before which many LIPs do.) We talk about this a lot at expat+HAREM, the global niche.
